Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and Syphilis Basics

This project included two courses, created in collaboration with the Office of STI/HIV/Viral Hepatitis at Colorado Department of Public Health (CDPHE). The client felt that existing courses in Rise 360 lacked visual diversity and engaging content. Hence, a vital part of the design were custom imagery and Storyline 360 blocks.
Some of the favorite parts of the courses, as identified during pilot studies, were the relatable characters and emphasis on scenario-based learning, as learners were taken through the complex content via case studies. We also included an accessibility consultant, who provided immeasurable feedback on viewing the course through screen reader technology.
My main roles in the project included: create and manage timelines, collect and organize content from SMEs, craft realistic case studies by interviewing SMEs working directly in the field, develop detailed storyboards, create illustrated graphics, develop in Rise and Storyline 360, organize pilot studies, and enhance course with gathered feedback.
